Opening Line

Humpty Dumpty was pushed...

I just received word from our realtor's assistant that we have officially closed and the finances have been released. That is a load of stress off of my mind and the official spouse of Jamoosh as well (not that there are any unofficial spouses, but doesn't the word official sound, well "oifficial?"). Now we can turn our heads to trying to fit what's left of our home into an apartment. Ack!

It Was This Long

The good Dr. Melillo stuck a long ass needle into my knee joint today. Cross your fingers and hope to do speed work in the dead heat and humidity of the Houston Summer that this is the last steroid injection I will require. Time will tell, but I am trying my best to be optimistic. If this does not work, then it's on to the scraping.

Hippo Butt

I know that customer service reps are only doing their job, which is to enforce inane rules and policies created by clueless people who would never play by the rules to begin with. Hence, my ire toward DirecTV does not include those souls who simply man the phones to put some bread on the table and some gas in their tank, but does include the Executives and Managers, who would much rather pucker up to a larvae infested hippo anus than do what is best for their customer(s).

And thus ends today's jab at DirecTV.

I Didn't Know It Would Do That

I know that all my readers are card carrying members of the Intelligentsia, hence I do not need to tell you not to do anything stupid this 4th of July weekend. Just simply enjoy it!
