Goodbye To You
Opening Line
Jack, Jill and the hill was an insurance scam.
At 11:01 CDT, Jaclyn, with the grace of a show horse, sailed over the electronic eye, thus closing the chapter on our old house. Our day began well before 4:30 AM and was longer than expected (but isn't that the way?). While the public was sleeping off their hangover from the rocket's red glare, we began one of countless trips between our old home and our temporary residence.
Our biggest mistake was treating too much stuff as "little" stuff and moving it ourselves rather than having the movers do it.
It's Good to be King
On July 4th, Jaclyn and I took a few hours away from the hustle and bustle of preparing for our move, and drove down the road apiece to spend some time with two of our best friends, Brian and Melissa. While there, I tried a Dogfigh Head Midas Touch Golden Elixir. Yes, this is a beer, but this is a brew with characteristics that may also appeal to white wine lovers. Perhaps it is because of the white muscat grapes, but I'll let you be the judge.
Wrap it Up
And finally, I closed out Week Two of the One Hundred Push Up Challenge with eight bonus push ups during the fifth and final round. That's good for 77 push ups. On the flip side, with my body wracked with pain from the move, I will be curious about the introduction to Week Three.
We start week two tomorrow! I can't believe I am sticking with it!

I am actually working on my last day of week two as well. But I am not cranking nearly as many push ups! Good job on yours!
